What You Need To Know
The truth is, no one “fix” or “program” or even methodology is going to ensure your success as a parent, or your child’s success as a student and a human being. The only way to ensure success is having a facilitator who empowers your student and his or her singular strengths with the experience and knowledge to integrate these exceptional strengths into “real life.” Then, you need a true liaison with you, so you can help your child personally. Some teachers at your child’s school do this, but most schools and classrooms do not--in fact, they prevent it. That is why I am here.
I will help you understand things like:
where your child’s self-esteem and positive reinforcement coming from and where these things need to be coming from
how your student is going to get into the college of his/her choice
how he or she is going to get a scholarship if you cannot afford an education
how they’ll succeed in a classroom with up to 40 other students in it
how he or she will do on the ACT or SAT and on College tests and essays
how your ADHD, Asberger’s, dyslexic, or dysnomic child will fare in middle or high school or even in college
if you are home schooling, you need to know your child will succeed socially and how he or she will do that
if your child is in regular school, you need to ensure they will fit in without succumbing to peer pressure
more techniques and options for calming your teenager down
how you can make sure your child is connected spiritually*
that your child is developing the right and best aspects of who he or she is
how to teach your child good decision making skills and how to measure this
if you feel estranged from your teen, how to find common ground and successful communication
if your teen is too dependent on you or others for their self-esteem and motivation
how to develop your child’s independence while still protecting him or her as a parent
your child’s specific strengths—and ways of discovering and enhancing those
what is going on with your child emotionally and tools to give them to deal with that
why your child is unhealthy physically or at an unhealthy weight and how to change that
how your child can clear his or her head and center
that your child can handle his or her relationships emotionally, mentally, and physically
